A heritage house built in 1880 and originally owned by the more affluent founding members of Wakkerstroom, Laventaba Guest House will delight you with classic country deco, yellow wood fireplaces and supreme hospitality.

Apart from crisp cotton linen and deep lounging baths, enjoy a continental breakfast prepared with care. The sunny cottage (self catering) accommodates 2, and the main farmhouse accommodates 6 guests. Dinner on request.

The Gables Guesthouse is situated within walking distance to the wetland and offers a pretty cottage, with views of the surrounding hills, in a lovely garden setting, with jungle gym and swings for children. The cottage consists of a living/dining/kitchen area, with 2 en suite bedrooms. There is a fireplace, full stove, microwave, full fridge/freezer and a lapa for braaing. 'The Gables' Guest House (Circa 1870) is the only authentic Dutch gabled homestead. The restored old coach house is now called 'Forget-Me-Not' cottage.

We also have a 'Stylish Colonial' double en suite bedroom with it's private entrancein the main homestead. This comfortable room is only available to a couple seeking bed and breakfast.
