Big Tree is a quaint, cosy and recently renovated Cottage. There is also a smaller separate dwelling appropriately called "The Branch"
The main cottage which is older than a 100 years, sleeps 4 (1 double bed and 2 single beds) and The Branch also sleeps 4 (1 double bed and 2 bunk beds) Electric blankets, bedding and towels supplied. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and there are also braai facilities available. The lounge has an easy to operate gas fireplace. A single lock up garage is also available. The property is fenced and small pets are welcome.

The delightfully renovated Milk Shed accommodates a family, or a group of up to eight people, and is fully equipped, with linen and towels supplied. Cawthorne Cottage is a two bedroom, two-bathroom cottage with a separate rondavel with its own bathroom. The rooms are very well appointed. For the winter months, there is under carpet heating in the bedrooms and a large fireplace in the living area. The verandah has a built in braai.

The kitchen is well equipped with cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, plus the following appliances. 4 plate stove with oven and warmer drawer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, large fridge /freezer and filter coffee maker. Tea, instant coffee, sugar salt, pepper, etc are provided. Breakfasts can be provided if arranged at the time of booking and servicing arranged.

The owners, Graham and Stella Mellor live on the adjoining property and will gladly be of assistance during your stay.The Cottage is in the village of Wakkerstroom, in a quiet area.

The Cottage has a TV and DSTV decoder, please bring your own smartcard.

The restored old coach house is now called 'Forget-Me-Not' cottage.

This quaint and adorable cottage is the weekend home of  Dm and Mrs Hofmeyr and is filled with many wonderful personal items which add such warmth and welcome. It is situated close to the "cbd" and has a lock-up garage. Two and a half bedrooms provide sleeping for 5 persons, 2 double and 1 single.

Electric blankets and heaters are available. The lounge also has an old fashion open fire place which still works perfectly. Two bathrooms shower / bath.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and braai facilities are also available. There is a DVD player but no TV, so please bring your own DVD's.

The property is fenced in but not for small animals. Linen and towels are provided throughout. Jangroentjie surely is another gem in THE JEWEL OF MPUMALANGA.

Mahem has a large garden with spectacular mountain and wetland views. It has been newly renovated and now has 4 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen and two patios. Log fire and old coal stove in living area. All rooms have heaters and it has a washing machine and dishwasher.
Bokmakierie is a one-bedroomed cottage in the grounds of Mahem Cottage. It can be hired separately or with the main house.
Accommodation is R200.00 per person per night with special rates for children and larger groups.

Only 5 kilometers from Wakkerstroom on the Zaaihoekdam road, you will find this old fashioned house, furnished alike, nestled in the beautiful green hills of a working cattle farm on the highveld.
